MYOB

Click to connect to your online MYOB account. Once connected, match your account codes to the relevant cost centres and Function Tracker will push new invoices and payments to your MYOB account.

You must be using "MYOB Account Right" - no other version of MYOB is currently supported.   If you are using this package, then connecting the two systems is quite simple.  All you need is a MYOB logon name and password that has full Admin rights to MYOB.  Also you need to know the password of your Company File.

To connect, you just need to navigate to Side Menu > Admin > Third Party Integrations > MYOB Account Right and click on Connect.   This will take you to the MYOB website and ask you to sign in.  Once signed in, it will automatically return you to Function Tracker.

Once connected, in Function Tracker you will then need to select the correct Company File and enter the correct username and  password for it.   We can not tell you this password, by default it is Admin and Password - this is usually where people get stuck as they do not know the username or password for the Company File.

Once entered correctly, you can then map items in Function Tracker to MYOB, meaning that you map for example Catering to the equivalent MYOB Chart of Accounts, such as Sales.  You need to do this for Catering, Beverage, Room Hire etc.. and also map Taxes and Bank accounts.  It is all straight forward, you simply click and select the correct option from a drop down list.

You will then need to test, make sure you can create Deposit and Final Invoices.  Make payments and see how the system syncs.

Please note that once connected:

1.   You will see a delay when creating a new Invoice, this is when Function Tracker is connecting to MYOB, it is very slow in comparison to Xero.
2.   You can only create one Deposit Invoice and one Final Invoice per event in Function Tracker.
3.   Payments made in Function Tracker will automatically sync to MYOB.
4.   Payments made in MYOB will sync back to Function Tracker generally after 15 minutes and ONLY if the creation date of the Invoice is 14 days or less than today.   You can though run a manual sync of payments form within each event.
